Every single sound on this album was written, recorded, mixed and mastered in one week starting on April 3rd and ending on April 10th. I had no plans to make an album. I had no songs written. I was housesitting for a week and thought it would be fun to see if I could pull it off. There was no time to second guess, over-think, or change my mind, I simply had to keep producing and let whatever came out happen. I think the result is one of the most unique and liberating groups of songs I've ever released. Enjoy the experiment.

Okay, in the interest of full disclosure, and to lend credibility to my claim that this was created entirely from scratch, I have to be honest... I did already have the basic idea for "Beelzebub". But I mean really, who cares?

"whatever" marks the first release in the "4 floors series" whereupon I aim to record an entire album on each of the four floors of my childhood home. "whatever" completes ATTIC.

Update: Recording and mixing and album in a week is a tall order. At the end of the week one's ears are quite tired. After remastering with fresh ears CDCC brings you the updated "whatever."
